Narnia ก็คีนะ

warm curry is in my belly.

I saw Narnia tonight. I liked it. I want to read the books again, really, now, and I might just after I finish the Celestine Prophecy and make some more progress on One Piece volume 1 (my first manga in 日本語) The movie finished around 1 am. Late show for half price; ¥1200. You can bring in your own munchies though if you're quiet about it.

Talked to Takashi in the shopping mall's garage for a while. I biked home around the mountain; you have to, really. The mountains here are everywhere. You have to go over them, around them, through them, constantly. They jump up out of the landscape like giant apartment buildings without the apartments; rumored wild boars - 'inoshishi' - nocturnally rambling about on top. Every now and then something wild wanders down from one; every now and then something urban gets built on top of one, but mostly they are mysterious, dense, crowded bits of nature left alone in the streets and pavement.

The city was dark, the quiet was damp from a nightly rain. Cars were there but few; my single bright lamp latched onto my handlebars made me different from them. I like the city at night. Can you tell?

Yumico's trapsing around starting to pack; finally got an apartment of her own downtown. Exciting, truly, and probably good for us both, but the renewed emptiness here will probably take some getting used to. Sad in some ways, but hopeful in others.

Auras have been feeling stronger; I've begun noticing them again, and with some spurring on by Yukari and a few others, am having fun playing around with it. Made milk curry and milky rice tonight, trying to use up all the old, undrunk school milk I bring home once a week. I might make cookies tomorrow. If I'm lucky, I'll get to practice ไทย with Pipop tomorow.

Been listening to Loreena McKennit, Dead Can Dance, Gordon Lightfoot, Concrete Blonde, and Amanda Ghost a lot of late. Good music. Goodnight.
